English Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth are considering a mouthwatering bid to Bristol City to secure the signature of Antoine Semenyo in the ongoing winter transfer window.
Bournemouth boss Gary O’Neil is on the hunt for attacking reinforcements with the club teetering on the edge of the relegation zone.
And he believes Semenyo could be the man to help keep the Cherries in the Premier League come the end of the season.
Bournemouth, who are yet to make any signings this month, have since gone on to win just four out of 19 games.
Semenyo has notched up seven goals and provided two assists in 25 games across all competitions this season so far.
He is out of contract at Ashton Gate in the summer, but Bristol City have the option of extending his deal by a further 12 months.
Semenyo, 23, was part of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the just ended FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The versatile forward made two appearances from the bench for the Black Stars in Qatar, but was unable to prevent his side from exiting the tournament before the knockout stages as Ghana finished bottom of Group H
