English-born Ghanaian attacker Brandon Thomas-Asante provided an assist earlier this evening for Coventry City in their pulsating 1-1 draw against Queens Park Rangers in week 11 of the EFL Championship.

The 25-year-old made manager Mark Robins starting line up and lasted 74 minutes of action before making way for Ellis Simms.

The mercurial wideman assisted American international Haji Wright to open the scoring account having struck from close range in just four minutes from kickoff.

Eighteen minutes into the second half, Kieran Morgan levelled the score to split the points between both sides after two matches.

Thomas-Asante, who has four-goal involvements this season, was recently in Ghana's squad that played against Sudan in the double header in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

He will hope to make the starting berth when they host Luton Town in the next round of matches this weekend at the Building Society Arena.
