Premier League side Arsenal FC have expressed strong interest in signing English-born Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo and his club AFC Bournemouth have now named their price.

The 24-year-old has been very outstanding since joining the Cherries from Bristol City and has since established himself as one of the supporters' favourite at the Vitality Stadium.

The Black Stars attacker in the ongoing campaign, has scored three goals in eight league appearances hoping to continue improving his numbers as the season progresses.

His stellar display has caught the attention of the two clubs Arsenal and Newcastle United who reportedly have targeted the lanky striker as they look to strengthen their attacking options with the latter leading the race.

Semenyo, himself has already revealed his admiration for the North-Londoners and added he is always open to joining any club that compete regularly in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

“Yeah any team that plays Champions League, Europa (League) — that’s the aim. I am an Arsenal fan.”

Amid all these reports, AFC Bournemouth have told Arsenal and other clubs interested to pay an amount of £50 million before they could secure the service of the Black Stars attacker, per Football Insider.

After a vital home win over the Gunners over the weekend, Andoni Iraola's men will travel to Aston Villa in what will be a very tough week nine encounter.
