English-born Ghanaian international, Brandon Thomas-Asante has netted his debut goal for new club Coventry City in their precious 1-0 win over Oxford United in round 2 of the EFL Cup.
The 25-year-old joined the Sky Blues in the ongoing transfer window on a five-year deal and played really hard to secure his service amid interest from Hull City and other clubs.
He made the starting line up and scored the only goal of the game on the 57th minute to send his side to the next stage and earned himself an impressive rating of 7.7 on Sofascore.
Brandon, has now made appearances for Coventry in all competitions; three in the Championship and two in the league cup and will hope to play more matches and score more going forward.
Mark Robins' side will host Norwich City in their next league game in a lunch time kickoff this weekend.
Brandon Thomas-Asante made his debut for the Black Stars in June in a World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium. He substituted Mohammed Kudus in the 89th minute of a 4–3 Ghana victory.
