Ghanaian midfielder, Forson Amankwah looks doubtful for Ghana's upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger next month.
The 21-year-old sustained an Injury in Norwich City's 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the second round of the English Football League Cup last night at the Selhurst Park.
The mercurial playmaker made the starting line up and began on a very good note but unfortunately left the pitch after just thirteen minutes into the game and was replaced with Scottish international Kenny McLean.
The extent of the injury hasn't been determined yet and that has put the chances of Forson playing in the Black Stars next assignment very difficult at this point.
Forson Amankwah made his senior international debut for Ghana against Nigeria in an international friendly in the March international window.
The Black Stars will kickstart their 2025 AFCON qualifier campaign against Angola in Kumasi on September 5, before they face Niger in their second game in four days time.
