Two Premier League clubs; Everton and Nottingham Forest have expressed strong interest in signing Ghanaian young sensation Ernest Nuamah from Olympique Lyon.
The 20-year-old joined Les Gones on an initial loan deal from Belgian side RWD Molenbeek but his outstanding display earned him a permanent capture this summer on a four-year deal.
The mercurial winger enjoyed a great debut season in the last French Ligue 1 campaign but Lyon really struggled and weren't at their best in the entire season and that somehow affected the player's performance individually.
Nuamah, made 29 league appearances and contributed 3 goals and 2 assists- a performance which caught the good eyes of manager Pierre Sage and decided to keep him on a long term.
Having already started the ongoing season on a higher note, Everton and Nottingham Forest are all willing to secure his service with the former willing to get things done before the ongoing transfer window shuts down.
Olympique Lyon per reports, won't accept anything less than £25 million from any of the clubs interested in the Right to Dream Academy graduate with two other Saudi Pro League sides also monitoring the situation.
Ernest Nuamah, sustained a knock against AS Monaco over the weekend, and is currently doubtful for Ghana's 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
