The Ghanaian defender has arrived in Greece to seal his move to the Greek elite giants provided he is given a clean bill of health by the team medics over his medical assessments today
Ghana international left-back Baba Rahman has landed in the city of Thessaloniki to undergo medicals with Super League Greece side PAOK FC ahead of his free transfer move this summer.
The 29-year-old former FC Augsburg defender, who played on loan at the Thessaloniki-based side in 2021, is set to reunite with his former employers in the Greek top-flight if he passes his medical examinations today (July 9, 2023).
Before Baba brought his eight-year marriage with English Premier League side Chelsea FC to a close, he had loan spells with Stade Reims, RCD Mallorca, FC Schalke 04, Reading and PAOK Thessaloniki.
The Tamale-born defender so far has 50 international caps for Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
