French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon has accepted a €30 bid from the English club over the sale of Ghana winger Ernest Nuamah on the transfer deadline day.
The 20-year-old winger is scheduled to undergo a mandatory medical examination in a few hours to complete his sensational move to Fulham FC.
It was believed that fellow top-tier rivals Everton and Nottingham Forest were leading the race to secure the loan deal of the former FC Nordsjaelland forward after reportedly agreeing terms with him over the transfer move.
However, the Ghana international preferred a move to the London-based side and gave them his words to proceed with their pursuit over his services this summer.
Nuamah, who sealed a permanent move to Lyon from Belgian side RWD Molenbeek, has so far featured in two games for Lyon in the just started 2024–25 French Ligue 1 season.
He has been capped 12 times by the Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars, with 3 goals to his credit.
