The Serie A record title holders have secured the signature of the former Black Stars striker on a season-long loan deal, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.

Italian top-flight league powerhouse Juventus have completed the loan signing of Ghanaian striker Felix Afena-Gyan for their feeder club until the end of the 2024–25 season from US Cremonese.

The 21-year-old attacker will be featuring for the Juventus Next Gen in the Italian Serie C in the 2024–25 season's campaign.

Afena-Gyan, who hasn't featured in any Serie B match for US Cremonese this term, sealed a loan switch to the reserve side of the Turin-based club on the transfer deadline day.

The Ghanaian international has had a torrid stay at US Cremonese since joining them on a long-term contract from Serie A side AS Roma in 2023. He has scored only three goals in 36 appearances for Cromonese.

His move to the reserve side Juventus side was facilitated by his management to help the Felix Afena-Gyan rediscover his impeccable form displayed at AS Roma youth to earn a promotion to the club's first team under veteran Portuguese gaffer Jose Mourinho.

The Sunyani-born joined AS Roma from Ghanaian based EurAfrica in January 2021 where he had a breakthrough after excelling for the youth team before he was promoted to the senior team by Mourinho.

He was one of the most important players that helped Ghana to book a place in the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year by eliminating Nigeria in the final play-off round.

Afena-Gyan scored two goals in his 17 appearances for AS Roma during the short stay.

He part of the AS Roma squad that won the maiden edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season.

Afena-Gyan has capped seven times for the Black Stars with a goal to his credit.
