Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Brian Brobbey scored double in Ajax big win over Excelsior in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday evening.

Brobbey, 20, was handed a starting berth to lead the attack for the Red and White lads and he was at his usual best after notching a brace before the hour-mark.

 
Mexican international Jorge Sanchez opened the floodgate for Ajax with his debut league goal before Steven Bergwijn doubled the lead on 28th minute.
 
On the 44th minute, Brobbey brilliantly extended the lead for the home side to hand them a 3-0 lead to end the first half.
 
Nine minutes after the break, the 20-year-old deepened the woes of Excelsior with another fine strike. 
 
On the 64th minute, Dusan Tadic extended the lead to to 5-0 before Steven Bergwijn completed his day with a brace after finding the back of the net on 75th minute.
 
Substitute Kudus Mohammed needed just seven minutes to complete Ajax demolition exercise with a fine strike on the 81st minute of the game.
 
The visitors grabbed the consolation goal in the dying embers of the game through Nikolas Agrafiotis.
 
Brobbey has notched up six (6) and provided two assists in his 15 appearances for Ajax.
