Ghana international Kudus Mohammed climbed off the bench to score in Ajax heavy win over Excelsior in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday evening.
Ajax returned to winning ways after a back-to-back defeats in the UEFA Champions League to SSC Napoli to record a massive win over Excelsior in the Eredivisie match-week 10 fixture at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
Dutch-born of Ghanaian descent Brian Brobbey scored twice on the 44th and 59th minute after two-goal hero Steven Berghuis and Jorge Sanchez had given Ajax a 2-0 lead before the half-hour mark.
On the 64th minute, Dusan Tadic extended the lead to to 5-0 before Steven Bergwijn completed his day with a brace after finding the back of the net on 75th minute.
Kudus Mohammed was introduced on the 74th minute as replacement for skipper Dusan Tadic.
The Black Stars attacking midfielder needed just seven minutes to complete Ajax demolition exercise with a fine strike on the 81st minute of the game.
The visitors grabbed the consolation goal in the dying embers of the game through Nikolas Agrafiotis.
Kudus Mohammed has scored nine (9) goals in his 15 appearances for Ajax Amsterdam in all competitions this season so far.
