Ghanaian center-back, Bridget Adu has achieved the double with Egyptian side TUT FC who emerged as winners of their league cup weeks ago with a 4-2 victory over Wadi Degla.
The 24-year-old once again was included in the starting XI and once again marshalled the backline very well to ensure her club and had their hands gripped to the league cup.
The Reds have now won the Egypt Cup back to back having successfully defended the title they won last season- despite being established few years ago.
The ex- Thonon Evian guardswoman has now achieved the double having won the Egyptian Women's Premier League weeks ago and will hope to win more silverware going forward.
The enterprising defender from fulfilling her defensive duties moved to net seven goals in 30 matches in all competitions in the just ended season.
TUT FC will compete in the UNAF qualifiers as they hope to book a spot in the CAF Women's Champions League in the 2024/25 season.
