The exciting attacking midfielder has emerged as a top transfer target for the Foxes ahead of next season's Premier League campaign.
English Premier League returnees Leicester City have reportedly expressed interest in securing the signature of Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been identified as a key asset to the Leicester City squad for the Premier League campaign following his exploits in the Swedish Allsvenskan with IF Elfsborg.
Baidoo has been a top performer for IF Elfsborg since arriving at the club in 2022 from Norwegian side Sadnes Ulf. He was named Elfsborg's player of the season last year when they came close to winning the Swedish Allsvenskan.
It is believed that Leicester City's relationship with African players could prove key to their decision to sign the Ghanaian, who could add not only stability in the middle but also some attacking threat to the team.
Baidoo has scored two goals and provided an assist in six league appearances for IF Elfsborg this season so far.
He was included in Ghana's provisional squad list for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Ivory Coast earlier this year.
