Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion have joined the race to sign Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi, the versatile talent who has been turning heads at Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.

The 19-year-old moved to Nordsjaelland from the Right to Dream Academy in March 2024 and has since impressed with his consistent performances. Yirenkyi’s displays have reportedly attracted interest from several clubs, including a previous link to Arsenal.

Currently contracted to Nordsjaelland until 2030, Yirenkyi has made almost 40 appearances across two seasons and has already stepped up to international football, earning eight caps for Ghana.

This season, he has featured 17 times in the Danish Superliga, contributing one goal and four assists, showcasing his ability to influence games from midfield.

Brighton’s interest follows their successful recruitment of Nordsjaelland academy graduates Simon Adingra and Ibrahim Osman, who both transitioned to the Premier League after initially moving from Right to Dream to Denmark.

With a growing list of admirers across Europe, Caleb Yirenkyi is shaping up to be one of Ghana’s most sought-after young talents in the coming transfer windows.
