English Championship leaders Burnley have enquired about Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo as Vincent Kompany looks to bolster his squad for their promotion push.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at Ashton Gate in the summer, but Bristol City have the option of extending his deal by a further 12 months.
They value Semenyo at around £12m, and the forward has also had interest from Premier League outfit Bournemouth.
Semenyo has scored six goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for City this term.
The Clarets have been monitoring Semenyo in the Championship, and also got to see him on the international stage at the World Cup.
The versatile forward made two appearances from the bench for the Black Stars in Qatar, but was unable to prevent his side from exiting the tournament before the knockout stages as Ghana finished bottom of Group H
