The budding talented winger has returned to the Ghanaian giants after his loan at relegated Swedish Allsvenskan club Helsingborgs IF expired.

Asante Kotoko young attacker Joseph Amoako is back to his parent club from the season-long loan deal at Helsingborgs IF following the expiration of the contract, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.

In February 2022, the 20-year-old was farmed out to the Olympia Stadium outfit in a loan deal worth €10,000 with an option to buy but he failed to impress the club's technical handlers.

Helsingborgs IF opted not to exercise the clause of securing his service on permanent basis after the club's relegation from the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Amoako struggled for playing time at Helsingborgs IF where he made only ten (10) game outings — 295 minutes — for the club in all competitions.

He joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal from lower-tier side Red Bull Football Club in October, 2021.

Amoako, who is under a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors recorded four assists before getting sidelined through an injury last season.
