Caen fullback Emmanuel Ntim knee sprain injury will keep him out for two weeks, the club has said.
The Ghanaian, who was given a great deal of playing time by coach Jean-Marc Furlan last season, was taken off in the first half of Caen's French Ligue 2 defeat to Saint-Etienne during their match-day 6 clash on Saturday, September 16.
"He has a knee sprain injury to his leg. The estimated time for recovery is around two weeks," the club said.
The left back position has been a problem for Caen due to the little cover they have to that position.
