Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has earned a major career boost after being nominated for the 2025/26 Danish Superliga Player of the Season award.
The talented youngster was included among eight nominees for the prestigious honour following a standout campaign with FC Nordsjælland.
Yirenkyi’s nomination reflects his rapid development and growing influence since breaking into the Nordsjælland first team. He has established himself as one of the most exciting young midfielders in the Danish top flight, impressing with his composure, energy, and tactical maturity.
A graduate of the Right to Dream Academy, the 21-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season, becoming a key figure in midfield and delivering consistently strong performances throughout the campaign.
He has made 28 appearances so far this season, scoring two goals and providing eight assists for his club.

Yirenkyi is up against some of the league’s top performers for the award, including Tobias Bech, Tonni Adamsen, Thomas Jørgensen, Franculino Djú, Gift Links, Patrick Pentz, and Aral Şimşir.
