The 20-year-old youngster of Ghanaian descent is returning to his parent club following his productive loan stint with the German second-tier outfit this term
German-born Ghanaian youngster Farid Alfa-Ruprecht is joining up with his mother club Bayer Leverkusen after a successful loan spell with 2. Bundesliga side VfL Bochum, the club have announced.

The former Manchester City U18 star, who was loaned out to the German lowly division side during the 2025 summer transfer window, has so far excelled throughout the remainder of the current campaign with much game time at the Ruhrstadion.
A statement from the club's website read: ''Farid Alfa-Ruprecht already boasts an impressive resume at a young age. After stints at Manchester City and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, he joined VfL Wolfsburg in September 2025. The 20-year-old made 26 appearances for the Blue and Whites in competitive matches, contributing two goals and two assists. He will also be returning to his boyhood club, Bayer Leverkusen. Thank you for your commitment and all the best!''

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the promising wonderkid still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage after featuring for the Germany U16, U17 & U18 national youth teams.
