Those in charge of recruitment at the Red Bull Arena have now included the 21-year-old winger in their transfer target wishlist ahead of the forthcoming transfer window

Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig have set sights on Ghana international winger Issahaku Fatawu in an effort to secure his services from English Championship relegated club Leicester City, a report from the German media has stated.

The former Sporting CP man, who came close to sealing a move to fellow Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in 2021 as then a teenager, could be heading to the German top-flight after attracting interest from Die Roten Bullen ahead of the summer transfer window.

Per Sky Germany, RB Leipzig have added the Black Stars wideman to their shortlist of targeted players as they look forward to replacing their lvorian teenage sensational winger Yan Diomande with his signing should the 19-year-old depart this summer.

Premier League clubs including Sunderland, Everton and Leeds United are also in the running for his signature, with David Moyes hell-bent to bring the nimble left-footed winger to the Goodison Park next season.

With Leicester City going down the drop in the league standings this season, Fatawu's sale to potential suitors becomes inevitable although his current deal at the King Power Stadium will expire on June 30, 2029.

He took in 44 appearances by netting 9 times and assisting 8 for the Foxes across all competitions in the 2025-26 football seasons.

He is currently boasting of 27 caps for the Ghana national football team at the international level, with 3 goals to his name. The former Dreams FC loanee would surely be part of the Black Stars squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
