The man in charge of the dugout at the Stamford Bridge has singled out the Ghanaian teenage sensation for special praises after making his debut in the English top-flight this term

Ghana-prospect Josh Acheampong was Chelsea's best player against Crystal Palace, says manager Enzo Maresca, with the talented teenager told he's a ''classic player'' who needs to be guided to the right direction as an upcoming youngster.

The 18-year-old right-back was handed his debut in the top-flight by the ltalian gaffer and was instrumental for his side during their 1-1 draw game against their London rivals in the Premier League on Saturday.

However, with his splendid outing, the 44-year-old tactician has now moved to lavish effusive praises on the Ghana-prospect given his talent as a budding star.

''I think everyone did well, but if I had to single out one, it would be Josh,'' the former AC Milan man told press conference after the clash.

'' I think that considering his age he was our best man. He is a class player who needs to be guided in the right direction, like all other young players. We had decided that he was ready to start inside, and I think he seized the opportunity.''

Acheampong, who recently penned a five-year contract extension with the English top guns, has so far figured in 1 league game for the West London club in this current Premier League campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the teenage sensation still remains fit to switch nationality allegiance to play for Ghana at the international level despite playing for the England national youth teams.
