Southampton have been handed a massive boost with the overturning of Kamaldeen Sulemana's red card by the English Football Association after the club's appeal.

The Ghana international, who was returning from a knee injury, was sent off in Southampton embarrassing 4-1 home defeat to Leicester City in the English Championship on Friday night.

The 21-year-old pacey attacker picked up a straight red card deep into stoppage time for a challenge on James Justin, which has now been overturned following an appeal by Southampton.

Southampton coach Russell Martin confirmed the availability of Kamaldeen Sulemana after a successful appeal in a pre-match interview ahead of tomorrow's game against Ipswich Town.

“Jan Bednarek is back in the squad and we won our appeal with Kamaldeen, so Kamaldeen is in the squad which is good news.” Martin said.

Sulemana will be part of the Southampton's squad for their match-week seven game against Ipswich Town at the St. Mary's Stadium
