Coventry City forward Brandon Thomas-Asante has declared his ambition to make a major impact with the Black Stars.

The 26-year-old, who celebrates his 27th birthday on December 29, made his Ghana debut in October 2024 and has played seven matches, scoring once.

Despite his solid form for Coventry City, where he has netted 10 goals and provided three assists in 17 appearances this season, Thomas-Asante has yet to cement a regular spot in the national team.

“For me, I want to be successful with the Black Stars. I don’t just want to be a squad player; I want to contribute goals, assists, and help this nation win trophies. We know the expectations are high, and we’re ready to meet them,” he told PFA.

The former West Bromwich Albion star is currently sidelined with an injury but is determined to return strong and push for a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
