The Black Stars winger has made a sensational return to European football sealing a move to the Polish top-flight league outfit until the summer of 2030.
Polish Ekstraklasa outfit Widzew Lodz have announced the signing of Ghana winger Osman Bukari on a long-term contract from MLS side Austin FC.
The 27-year-old has signed a four-year contract worth $6.5 million with Red Army after spending 17 months in the Major League Soccer.
The club's official statement reads: “Osman Bukari has joined Widzew Łódź on a permanent transfer from Austin FC, signing a contract until 2030.”
Bukari joined Austin FC in 2024 from Red Star Belgrade. He totaled 50 appearances in all competitions during his season-and-a-half in Austin, recording six (6) goals and 10 assists.
The former Accra Lions attacker has previously played for AS Trencin, KAA Gent and a loan spell at Nantes FC before moving to Serbia to join Red Star Belgrade.
Bukari has netted three goals for the senior national team of Ghana in 19 caps. He is among the wingers expected to represent Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
