After Crystal Palace's commanding 3-1 victory over Burnley in the English Premier League, club captain Joel Ward singled out Jordan Ayew as a standout player whose quality remains unmatched within the team.

Ward's praise came on the heels of Ayew's milestone 200th appearance for the London club, a feat achieved during Oliver Glasner's managerial debut for Palace following his appointment as Roy Hodgson's successor.

Ayew, who boasts an impressive record of 23 goals and 21 assists in his Palace career, showcased his significance to the team by both scoring and assisting Chris Richards' goal in the crucial win over Burnley.

Reflecting on Ayew's contributions, Ward remarked, "I think Jordan, at times, goes under the radar, but what he provides and what he does for his team is second to none."

Ward also lauded the impact of recent acquisition Daniel Munoz, acknowledging the right fullback's stellar start at Selhurst Park.

Jordan Ayew's versatility and impact have been evident throughout the current Premier League season, where he has notched six assists and six goals in 24 appearances.

His absence from some matches was due to his commitments with Ghana's Black Stars at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
