According to Sportsworldghana, Crystal Palace, an English Premier League club, has expressed a strong interest in securing the services of talented Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu.
Crystal Palace is known for its focus on talent recruitment and is actively pursuing Salisu to enhance their squad with his defensive skills and immense potential.
However, the Eagles will face competition from Manchester United and Aston Villa who are also keen on landing the Ghanaian defender.
The 24-year-old Salisu joined Southampton from Real Valladolid during the summer transfer window of 2020 and quickly established himself as a key player for the team.
Unfortunately, injuries have hindered his participation in games this season, limiting his playing time.
Following Southampton's 2-0 defeat to Fulham, the club was relegated to the Championship.
Salisu made his debut for Southampton on February 11, 2021, six months after joining the club. In that match, he played the full 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 FA Cup away victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Throughout the Premier League season, Salisu made 22 appearances and provided one assist.
