Daniel Adu-Adjei produced another eye-catching performance on Sunday, scoring twice to inspire HNK Rijeka to a comfortable 3-0 win over NK Lokomotiva Zagreb in the Croatian top division.

The 20-year-old striker, who developed in the academy of AFC Bournemouth, continues to build momentum in European football with consistent and decisive contributions in front of goal.

His brace lifts his season tally to 10 goals and three assists across all competitions, including four goals in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Adu-Adjei wasted no time making an impact, breaking the deadlock in the 14th minute with a composed finish after being set up by Mladen Devetak. His movement and sharpness repeatedly troubled the Lokomotiva defence throughout the first half.

He struck again shortly after the restart, calmly converting a well-worked team move following an assist from Amer Gojak to double Rijeka’s advantage and take full control of the match.

The Croatian side maintained their dominance, and the victory was sealed in the 81st minute when Merveil Ndockyt added a third goal, once again assisted by Gojak.
