Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh impressed greatly as FC Zurich were held to a 2-2 draw by Lausanne in the Swiss Super League on Wednesday at the Letzigrund stadium.
The former Hearts of Oak star climbed off the bench to replace Swiss defender Fabio Daprela in the 46th minute.
In the 47th and 52nd minutes Barnieh made his presence felt in the match as he assisted his team's goal as they trailed from behind to equalize after going down by two goals.
After 90 minutes neither team could find a winner as the game ended on a pulsating draw stalemate.
The draw has moved FC Zurich to the 4th position, while Lausanne has stalled to the 11th spot of the twelve-team Swiss top-flight table.
