Black Stars and SC Freiburg midfielder, Daniel Kofi Kyereh after rupturing his knee, has successfully undergone surgery and is now set to start his rehabilitation.
The Black Stars attacking midfielder has painfully been ruled out of the 2022/23 football season by the club's medical team after the first checks.
His club subsequently announced that Daniel Kofi Kyereh will not be available for the remainder of the season due to a cruciate ligament injury.
Having suffered this heartbreaking setback, his teammates when coming to the pitch for s warm up wore a t-shirt with his jersey number and last name 'Kyereh' at the back to show him solidarity and support and also wish him the speediest recovery.
The Ghanaian playmaker earlier today underwent the operation and passed through successfully and is set to remain on sidelines for series of months, hoping for no any setbacks in his recovery.
Daniel Kofi Kyereh joined the Brisgau Brazilians prior to the start of the season from St Pauli and has made 18 appearances in the ongoing season in all competitions with three goals to his belt.
He will miss Ghana's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers scheduled for next month.
