Turkish first division side Tuzlaspor have completed the signing of Yeni Malatyaspor centre-back Philip Gameli Awuku on loan for the remainder of the season.
Awuku requested to leave Tuzla Belediye Stadı amid concerns of the recent earthquake that struck the Southeast european nation - which affected Malatyaspor greatly and the club have decided to take a decision to stay out of the league.
The 22-year-old joins Tuzlaspor with whom he hopes to impress to seal a spot in the club, although there's a clause in his contract indicating that there won't be no option to buy permanently.
"Welcome to our family Philip Gameli Awuku Our Tuzlaspor has agreed with Philip Gameli Awuku from Yeni Malatyaspor and continues to take steps to show that they are in the competition in the second half of the season. With respect to the public and fans, we wish success to our player Philip Gameli Awuku," Tuzlaspor wrote on their official facebook page.
