The 18-year-old forward has been promoted to the first-team of the Austrian top-tier league outfit ahead of the 2025–26 season's campaign.
Austrian Bundesliga side SK Rapid Wien have handed a promotion to Ghanaian young winger Daniel Nunoo after being identified as a top priority in club's plan for the new season.
The career of Nunoo, who started with lower-tier Ghanaian side Shooting Stars FC, has taken a significant leap with an opportunity to make a top-flight league debut.
Initially signed in September 2024 to develop with Rapid’s reserve side, the teenager’s swift progress changed that plan. He made his debut for Rapid II in November 2024, replacing Jovan Živković in the 60th minute of a 2. Liga clash against FC Liefering.

His blistering pace, technical skill, and attacking flair quickly caught the eye of the club’s top brass.
Primarily deployed as a right winger, Nunoo is versatile enough to play on the left or centrally as an attacking midfielder. His current contract runs until June 30, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional year.
According to Transfermarkt, Nunoo’s market value has already risen to €300,000—a figure expected to increase if he continues to shine at senior level.
