Danish Superliga side Randers FC have confirmed the signing of Ghanaian teenage forward Cyril Edudzi, completing a move agreed earlier in the season.
The 19-year-old joins from Georgian Cup holders FC Dila Gori after putting pen to paper on a four-year contract and arrives in the winter transfer window fresh from cup success in Georgia.
Randers football director Soren Pedersen described Edudzi as an exciting attacking addition.
“Cyril is a young and exciting player who has good speed and timing in his deep runs. An offensive card with an x-factor, who has already undergone a great development,” he said.
“Speed and acceleration are some of his key skills. He is a player who should offer himself on the wing and help create healthy competition among the offensive players.”
Edudzi signed off his time at Dila Gori by providing an assist in a 3-1 win over Saburtalo in the Georgian Cup final.
Confirming his arrival in Denmark, Randers unveiled the teenager on social media, posting: “Our new number 33. Cyril Edudzi has landed in Kronjylland directly after winning the cup final with FC Dila Gori, where he provided an assist in the final. Big congratulations on the cup title, Cyril – we look forward to seeing you in action in the light blue shirt.”
Edudzi began his career in Ghana with Accra-based Division-Two side' Stari Third World FC before moving to Georgia in 2024, and will now look to continue his development in Danish top-flight football.
