Ethiopian topflight side Ethiopian Coffee FC have unveiled former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad ahead of the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old arrived in the East African last Monday to undergo medicals and has agreed to a two-year deal and has finally been outdoored by the club.
He ended his eight-year stint with the Porcupine Warriors after his contract expired last month and failed to secure an extension.
Reacting to the switch, Danlad Ibrahim wrote this on his official Instagram page;
During his time with Asante Kotoko, Danlad made significant contributions to the team, representing Ghana at various youth levels, including the U-17, U-20, and U-23 teams, as well as the senior national team, the Black Stars.
He was also part of the Black Stars final squad at the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar.
Ethiopian Coffee SC finished third last season in the Ethiopian Premier League, and are hoping to build a very strong side this time in order to compete for the ultimate in the next campaign.
