Ghanaian youngster David Oduro has been ruled out for up to three weeks after suffering a left adductor injury while in action for Barça Atlètic.

The 19-year-old will miss the remainder of the season as he is expected to remain on sidelines for 2-3 weeks. 

Official club statement reads; “Barça Atlètic player David Oduro has a muscular injury in the adductor of his left leg. The estimated recovery time will be between two and three weeks,” 

Oduro, will now miss their final three matches as Juliano Belletti’s side are aiming at a strong finish against Olot, Atletic Lleida and Torrent CF. 

The teenage defender, who joined the club on a three-year deal in 2024 from Accra Lions, has made steady progress since arriving in Spain.

Oduro has featured 21 times this season, contributing a goal and an assist, as he continues to establish himself as a mainstay in the team.

His rapid development also earned him a call-up to train with the first team under Hansi Flick
