Having been targeted with monkey emojis under one of his photos online in August 2025, the high-flying forward has once again suffered from such fate from a different online account user via the micro-blogging platforms
Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo has been subjected to an online racial abuse on lnstagram after he was branded as a ''black monkey'' by the account user.
The former Bristol City man suffered the discriminatory act when he stirred for Manchester City in their 3-0 drubbing of Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

The 26-year-old, who is now crying foul over the incessant racial slurs on social media, has been battling the nerve-racking encounters over his playing career for some time now since the commencement of the current campaign.

ln revealing the latest derogatory remarks directed at him online, the former Bournemouth talismanic forward retorted by saying; ''lt's started again.....'' under the racial statement that reads on lnstagram: ''By the time you sit at the bench for about 15 game's you will know how to play football you black monkey.''

Semenyo has so far featured in 40 appearances by scoring 18 goals and setting up another 6 across all competitions in this ongoing football season.
He currently boasts of 34 caps for the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars with three goals to his name on the international stage so far. And with the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the horizon, Ghana would hope to have him on top form before they head for the global football event in the United States, Canada and Mexico in June this year.
