Galatasaray hit the ground running in the opening game of the Turkish Super Lig. as they defeated Hatayspor 2-1.
German-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Arthur Kohn played a key role in Galatasaray's important victory on Friday evening.
The left-back was handed a starting role at RAMS Park and saw 87 minutes, greatly frustrating their opponents with his quick runs at the left flanks as he created two scoring opportunities.
Nonetheless, he has been dubbed as the left-back the Yellow-Reds needs, likened to versatile Ferdi Kadıoğlu of Fenerbahçe.
Galatasaray will travel to Konyaspor in their next Super Lig game on August 16th.
