Ghanaian youngster Desmond Acquah was involved in FCV Dender EH round of 16 game of the Belgian Cup.
Acquah started the match for Dender against Zulte Waregem on Tuesday night, as they lost 2-1.
Zulte Waregem fired home the opener in the 13th minute through Ivorian forward' Abdoulaye Traore.
However, Belgian born Desmond Acquah pulled off the leveler five minutes later for Dender with a well executed stunner notching his first goal in this year's competitition.
The hosts took control of the match n the 35th minute as Anton Tanghe strucked home to make it 2-1 before recess.
Acquah who has been a pivotal player for the club this campaign went sacrificed as tactical shift as he was subbed off in the 70th minute for Guinean midfielder Dembo Sylla.
Despite Dender pushing for an equaliser, they could not find the much needed goal as Zulte Waregem progressed to the next stage of the Belgian Cup.
