The Swedish top-flight outfit are on the verge of securing the services of the 20-year-old attacking midfielder of Ghanaian heritage from his boyhood club ahead of the transfer deadline day
Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Matthias Nartey is set to join Allsvenskan club lK Sirius from Dutch Eerste Divisie side SC Cambuur, an emerging report from the Swedish media has stated.
The promising youngster could see his move to the Blåsvart in the coming days after holding a positive negotiation over the transfer deal in this current summer transfer window as per Swedish outlet Fotbollskanalen.
That notwithstanding, the man in charge of the dugout at the Kooi Stadion, Henk de Jong has confirmed the imminent departure of their youth star, telling Dutch broadcasting channel Omrop Fryslân: ''He ( Matthias Nartey) is not training now..as there is a big chance that it will be like that (a transfer).''
With his current contract set to come to a close on June 30, 2027, those vying for his signature must splash an amount of 350,000 euros on his head if they are to land him this summer as per his transfermarkt valuation.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Leeuwarden-born midfielder remains fit to represent Ghana on the international stage.
