Ghanaian young winger Edmund Baidoo scored in Red Bull Salzburg's six-goal thriller win over Rapid Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga Championship playoffs.

Baidoo, who lasted for 69 minutes, netted his fourth goal of the season in the 4-2 home win to ensure their Champions League qualification next season.

Israeli international Oscar Gloukh opened the scoring for the home side in the 8th minute before two-goal hero Nene Dorgeles doubled their lead with a perfect finish in the 11th minute of the game.

Eight minutes later, Andrija Radulovic reduced the deficit for Rapid Wien, but the two-goal lead was restored by Edmond Baidoo with his fine strike in the 24th minute.

Malian forward Nene Dorgeles increased his goal tally to 13 with his second goal of the day in the 56th minute, and a 63rd-minute goal from Rapid Wien's Guido Burgstaller ended the match in a 4-2 win for Red Bull Salzburg.

Baidoo arrived at Red Bull Salzburg from Norwegian second-tier league outfit Sogndal for a transfer fee of €3.30 million during the last summer transfer window.

He scored five goals and one assist in 21 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg in his debut season.
