The Ghana international has returned to Red Star Belgrade after a six-months loan spell at fellow Serbian SuperLiga side FK Radnički Niš.
Edmund Addo reached the end of his loan spell at Čair Stadium after the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 24-year-old midfielder joined Red Star Belgrade in June, 2023, on a four-year deal, joining from Spartak Subotica after spending half a season at the club, where he made 16 appearances across all competitions with no goals to his name.
He was loaned out to FK Radnički Niš in January this year, but the ex-Sheriff Tiraspol enforcer had another disappointing spell at the club, scoring none in 15 appearances.
Addo's lack of activity at Red Star Belgrade cost him a spot in Ghana’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Currently, with the prospect of earning more game time at the Red-Whites after rejoining, Addo could be eager to step on the gas and dish out good performance during training sessions and earn starting berths for matches.
Addo was part of the Black Stars squad during the 2026 World Cup qualifying games against Mali and Central Africa Republic.
