Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Gyasi opened his goal scoring account for Empoli against ACF Fiorentina in the Italian Serie A on Monday evening.
Gyasi, who was introduced in the 78th minute, needed just three minutes to seal Empoli's away win over ACF Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
A goal in each half from Francesco Caputo and Gyasi aided Empoli to secure an important 2-0 away win at Fiorentina to move out of the drop zone.
The 29-year-old registered his maiden goal for Blue and White lads when he slotted a pass from Jacopo Fazzini past goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano in the 81st minute of the game.
Gyasi has made six league appearances for Empoli with a goal to his credit in his debut season.
He joined Empoli FC from Spezia Calcio after the club has suffered a relegation to the Serie B
