Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has revealed the support and encouragement he's received from Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho, which has helped him settle into life at Leicester City.

The 18-year-old, who scored his debut goal for the club against Swansea City over the weekend, shared that Iheanacho has been motivating him to focus on adding goals to his game.

Issahaku played a pivotal role in Leicester's 3-1 victory against Swansea City, where he gave the Foxes the lead in the second half.

"I can't even explain how I am feeling right now, but Kele (Iheanacho) always tells me to score so I scored," he stated after the match.

The match began with Swansea taking an early lead through Matt Grimes, but Jannik Vestergaard managed to equalize for the Foxes just before half-time.

Issahaku's goal restored Leicester's lead in the second half, and Nigeria's Kelechi Iheanacho sealed the victory in the 88th minute.

Issahaku is currently on loan from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon, and Leicester City has the option to make the deal a permanent one.
