The 20-year-old Chelsea Youth product, who linked up with the Sabadellencs on a free transfer last month, has yet to make his maiden appearance in this current Spanish second-tier contest after bureaucratically cleared to ply his trade with the Catalan outfit this term

England-born Ghanaian starlet Yussif Owusu is still awaiting his debut with CE Sabadell in the LaLiga2 for the 2026-27 football season despite obtaining his work permit from the National Professional Football League (LFP).

The promising defensive midfielder, who swapped Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion U21 for the Estadi Municipal de la Nova Creu Alta this term, was outstanding with his impressive performances during his trials over the past months, with such eye-catching displays earning him a three-year contract after his assessment sessions on September 9.

Announcing the capturing of the Ghana-prospect midfield enforcer, the Sabadell-based club have said across their social media Handles: ''Now we have it available! Yussif Moro Owusu is already registered and will be able to join this week in the call. We've been really looking forward to this day, Yussif!''

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the London-born native remains eligible to switch international allegiances from England to Ghana by playing for the Black Stars team at the international level.
