Real Madrid are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Ghanaian midfielder Latif Issman from Spanish side UD Logroñés for their reserve team, Castilla, ahead of the 2027/28 season.

According to ESPN journalist Rodra, the 19-year-old has been on the Spanish giants' radar for over a year after impressing with his performances. Although Real Madrid failed to secure his signature during the previous transfer window, negotiations have intensified and are now at an advanced stage.

Issman, who has a reported €300,000 release clause, is expected to become Castilla's first signing for next season if the deal is completed. The powerful central midfielder is highly regarded for his athleticism, ball-winning ability and work rate.

The move aligns with Real Madrid's long-term strategy of recruiting talented young players for Castilla and La Fábrica, with the aim of developing them into first-team players or valuable transfer assets.

A switch to the Santiago Bernabéu would mark a major milestone in Issman's career and further highlight Ghana's growing reputation for producing talented young footballers capable of attracting Europe's elite clubs.
