English Northern Premier League club Basford United have announced the signing of England-born Ghanaian youngster Daniel Adiefeh from league rivals Ilkeston Town for the new football season.
The Ghana-prospect winger is staging a return to The Lions after spending the 2025/26 season on loan from his childhood club Notts County in the English lower-tier division contest.
Announcing the capture of the defensive midfielder, the Greenwich Avenue Stadium campaigners have said via their lnstagram Handle: ''We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Midfielder Daniel Adiefeh from Ilkeston Town.
''Formerly of Notts County, Daniel had a 3 month loan spell with the Ambers in 2025 before his loan was cut short due to injury.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, Adiefeh remains qualified to play for Ghana at the senior level on the international stage.
