Lawrence Setordjie completed 90 minutes on his senior Eintracht Frankfurt debut as the German club cruised to a 4-0 friendly win over lower-division side Eintracht Braunschweig.
The 18-year-old joined the Eagles from Accra Lions FC earlier this year, was given the opportunity to feature for the senior team and made the most of his outing.
Setordjie, caused problems for the opposition defence with his attacking play, proving a handful for Braunschweig’s defenders during the match.
The young-sensation was also involved in the build-up to Frankfurt’s third goal. His attempt was blocked, but the rebound fell into a dangerous area and was converted on the follow-up.
Frankfurt’s four-goal victory provided a positive setting for Setordjie to make his first senior appearance, while completing the full match gave him valuable experience at the club’s senior level.
The debut offers the former Accra Lions player an opportunity to build momentum as he seeks to establish himself within Frankfurt’s senior setup.
