The English National Men’s Football team is closely monitoring the rising star, Kobbie Mainoo, whose roots trace back to Ghana.

At just 18 years old, Mainoo, currently affiliated with Manchester United, has garnered significant attention from England Manager Gareth Southgate and his staff, who are deliberating his potential inclusion in upcoming friendly matches.

According to insights from football transfer expert Graeme Bailey, Mainoo's exceptional performances have piqued the interest of the English national team.

The prospect of Mainoo joining the squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium in March is actively being considered by the English camp.

As England prepares for the Euros, having secured qualification, the team is gearing up to face Serbia, Denmark, and Slovenia in Group C, following their narrow defeat to Italy in the 2020 Euros final.

Mainoo's standout contributions for Manchester United this season, including a decisive winning goal against Wolves in the English Premier League, have further elevated his standing.

His impactful debut goal in a 4-2 FA Cup triumph over Newport County has also contributed to his burgeoning reputation.

Despite his representation of England at youth levels, Mainoo retains eligibility to play for Ghana, a fact noted by Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Dr. Randy Abbey. Dr. Abbey expressed the GFA's interest in potential collaboration with the promising midfielder in the future.
