Ghanaian rising star Kwame Poku has emerged as a winter transfer target for English Championship side Ipswich Town, as per recent reports.
With the transfer window just a month away, Ipswich Town is closely monitoring Poku, who has also garnered interest from various clubs, including Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion, Millwall, Stoke City, and Bristol City.
Currently plying his trade with Peterborough United, Poku made the switch from Colchester United in August 2021. His stellar displays this season, contributing eight goals and eight assists in 24 games across all competitions, have captured the attention of several suitors.
While Ipswich Town is eager to secure Poku's services, a competitive landscape is anticipated for his signature, with multiple clubs expressing interest. Peterborough United's owner, Darragh MacAnthony, is expected to command a substantial fee for the talented winger.
Poku's exceptional performances in the ongoing League One season position him as a highly coveted prospect in the upcoming transfer window.
