Ghanaian international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku voiced his disappointment after Leicester City's recent draw against Sheffield Wednesday in the English Championship.
Starting in the week 18 clash, Issahaku made a significant impact by scoring for Leicester City, giving them a 1-0 lead.
Despite his contribution, Sheffield Wednesday managed to level the score with a late goal from Jeff Hendrick.
In an interview with the club’s media after the match, Issahaku said, “We know every game, we take it the same.”
“Today was a tough game and it’s not the result we wanted. We’ll learn from our mistakes and go again. There were so many chances and we’re unlucky we couldn’t make it. As the games keep going, we’ll come back."
“I got a goal, but it’s not the result I wanted. We didn’t get it, so I’m not happy. We wanted the win and we drew, but as I said, we’ll learn from our mistakes and keep going. We do this every game. The coach tells us to do it. That’s what we did and it went in, so I’m happy [with the goal].”
Issahaku has been a valuable asset to Leicester City this season, contributing two goals in 14 appearances.
