Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo has been handed a starting berth in AFC Bournemouth game against Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League this afternoon.

Semenyo sealed a lucrative move from Championship side Bristol City to the Cherries in the just ended transfer window.

 
Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil has named the 23-year-old to lead the attack for his side against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium.
 
Semenyo, who attracted interest from several clubs including Southampton and Burnley, scored seven goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Bristol City this term.
 
The versatile forward made two appearances from the bench for the Black Stars in Qatar, but was unable to prevent his side from exiting the tournament before the knockout stages as Ghana finished bottom of Group H
